6 days of the elliptical and the blood sugars are waaaaaaaaaay more consistent! Fasting numbers are still a bit up there, this morning it is 115mg. Seems the only way I can get that fasting number down is by taking the metformin 2x's a day. I did that for awhile and I was getting fasting numbers under 100mg! Nice.
Maybe I'll start that up again - why did I stop? Because I kept forgetting to take it!
Anyhoo-what's exciting is my blood sugar before and after every meal....consistently low. Wow - yesterday for breakfast, I had two chicken breast (dredged in flour) fried along w/a small baked potato (w/butter) and my bg 2 hours later: 119mg! What's awesome is that BEFORE I ate, my bg was 112mg (which was my fasting).
I've been using my elliptical like a good little girl - after I use it today, it will mark a full week of working out. The first that has happened since approx. 2 years!
I know it would have only been a week but for me, it's a milestone!
The first one of many!
Just want to encourage anyone out there who feels like they are a broken record: Doing good, doing rotten, back on track, blew it w/the birthday/holiday etc.....don't listen to the negative remarks from others, from your own condemning demons telling you you'll never be able to do it, or from posts you read stating why they don't understand how people just don't stick to it & they (we) must not be serious or want it bad enough or that we're just full of excuses!
I'm here to tell you YOU CAN & YOU WILL do it. Yes you will. Yes, Yes, Yes.
You ARE able!
I leave you with a pic of my 6yr old (Halloween 2012): Julius.

1 Would luv to hear from you!:
Do right — don't stray and it all falls into place!
The "miracle" of consistency!
Can't wait to hear the numbers
